First Friday the biggest night in Honolulu will have a new Event happening @ the new club “the Venue” on August 6, featuring some of Hawaii’s best talent! Chinatown is the only place to be on the first Friday of the month. What better place for a new location than across the street from the hottest Tattoo shop on the Island, Black Cat Tattoo! the Venue is located right next to Bamboo Two on Bethel Street.
Slam Poets + Multi-Genre DJs = Articulate
Slam Poets Dr. D, Travis T, Jason B, and John Fritzler will be doing what that do best, spitting mad lyrics at the audience while TripleBypass (Hijak) & Micron (Algorhythm) spin some upbeat lounge funk throughout their performances to enhance the aural atmosphere!
Prepped by the Poets and Revved by the Funk, the dance floor does a 180 with the sounds of Those Daze (Miami/Honolulu*Party Guy Records/Westbay), SamOndarox (Algorhythm), & Miko Franconi (Soundsex/220)! The beats are going to be deep, luscious, and ravenous. With a packed house the floor will be overflowing into the street calling for more people to join the creative journey which is Articulate!
The Lovely and talented Laura Chartier will be displaying some her beautifully crafted photography that will inspire and awe! So make sure to take a peek all around the club.
You won’t want to miss Articulate, the first in a long line of First Friday Extravaganzas at the hands of the Algorhythm Crew!
